Santa Experience

Sunday night was the Yackandandah Community Christmas party, with free jumping castles, face painint etc, oh and of course Santa. Poor Lachy had just asked Dad to take him to the toilet (Upstairs in clubrooms) when Santa decides to arrive on loud fire Engine. Wee quickly forgotten, and little boy darts down steap stairs with Dad at his heals to sit excitedly at Santas feet and wait for his present. At this stage, poorly organised Mum goes to take magic momment photo and cammera goes flat! Mum mummbles a few words under her breath and retreats with crying baby Jessica who did not like the comotion at all!
Some time later, Jessica has clamed down and enjoys watching leaves in large oak tree, note cute little outfit from Great Uncle J and Tess, very handy with such hot days
Try telling a 2 year old it is time to get off a jumping castle and go home just after a visit from the big fellow in red, some lemonade from Dad and a lollypop! Needless to say at 10pm Sunday night Lachy is wide awake in his bed singing Old McDonald. Ah, than k goodness Dad had to get him off to Emohruo while Mum and Jess caught up on some sleep.

Also took our first family swim at the waterhole this weekend. Lachy loved swimming around with Dad and with Floaty suit on is quite independent. Jess enjoyed dipping her toes in, but a little cold for much else. friends have taken photos, so hope to blog on next installment. Can you beleive a storm is brewing (No apples in sight) Had better get computer off due to lighteming.
