Not the most flattering of shots of some of us, but I take it lachy wanted to show poeple what size (for his Mother's sake) his baby brother or sister would be coming out. either that or he is telling a well rehearsed fishing tale.

Grandad has been refurbishing the dining room where they are staying, so i thought i had better start replenishing the art work here in yack so he feels at home on his return.
That is of course when Dad hasn't got me slaving on the farm.
I had a fantastic weekend this weekend with Uncle Stretch and Aunty Joelle. Story time was bliss from 2 books to four, and they played lego and balloon tennis.
Uncle Stretch was making the words up, but I set hime staright and told him to read the story properly. No flies on me. The red wine they tell me is just to keep them warm on a clod evening.
As the new master shef in Yackandandah, I have stepped up from jelly maker (Just like Grandad) to chocolate cake. The only problem is there is never enough mixture to fill the cake tin come cokking time, now why would that be. No evidence in this shot I am sure.
Just another dreadful winters day in yackandandah. A bit hard to see snow on Buffalo, but it is there, and we did start with a minus 1 frost....but the weather. Lawn is slowly recovering from summer drought and soon poor old mower will have to go into over drive.
A shot of Graham and my handywork on verandah. Hope it shows up ok, all cables and paint complete now. So i guess lachy will be climibing up and opver in no time. At least he can't do wheelies on his bike and go over the edge.
Sometimes being in my cardboard toilet block as pictured behind me is just too far from the reqards in the cupboard, so my potty starts to migrate towards the stickers drawer....funny that.

And sometimes with all the visitors that pop in to yack a comfy chair is hard to find.

Especially for Grandad, if you need some pointers along the way, I am a natural and only too happy to pass on some pointers.
A Green thumb Gardners grin. Note the sunshine in the background on a cold Australian winters day..... oops sorry am I bragging. Helping Mum re-pot the herbs, she thinks my mud pies won't help, but I know better.
I built this tower all on my own. I used the red box to climb up, balance and add the top. The grin says it all really, a very satisfying adventure, if not a little nerve renching for Mum who couldn't help, but had to be at the ready to catch me when I tumbled.

A classic from the longweekend, which I have had trouble adding. I hope you can see the likeness of the newlyweds on the bonfire behind. Caption on beer carton hung around neck readys....Just Married. Lachy enjoyed making the guys and I think their name sakes enjoyed watching them burn with a quiet drink or 2.

A quick overnight trip to Canberra this weekend to see the Overton's and collect "a boot load" of baby gear! David and lachy enjoyed one anothers company and it was great to see the house progress. Looks sunny through the window, but very cold outside......that's canberra!
